Managing the reference table

As of now, there is only one reference table to be manage (i.e. Cleaning Location)

Reference table is a look up table for options that can be selected when contributing an article.

It is used to group the articles into different targeted cleaning location so that users can browse the article relevant to the location they are cleaning or interested in.

You can access to this table by clicking on the "Cleaning Locations" under "Admin" in the navigation menu.

Adding a cleaning location name

To add a new location, simply enter into the text box and click "Submit".

You will be able to see the location in the table upon successful submission. Users will also be able to see the location in their drop down field when they are creating, editing or searching for articles.

The locations in the table are automatically sorted by its name.

If you have made a mistake spelling the location name, you can click on the "Edit" button correspond to the location name you want to change.

Note: Changing the location name here does not affect the articles which has the older location name.

Deleting a cleaning location name

You can also delete a location name by clicking on the "Delete" button corresponding to the location name you want to delete. You will be prompt to confirm your decision.

Note: Deleting a location name only remove it from the options in the drop down list in this site. It does not affect articles that has been tagged with the deleted location name.
