Assigning rights

Being a administrator can be of great responsibilities and no easy task. As an administrator, you can share that burden and rights with another person by assigning administrator rights to him.

In his user details, you can toggle the "Admin?" field to "Yes". Remember to "Save" the changes.

The changes are immediate and the status in the user listing will also be reflected.

Administrator rights includes:

• Edit any article

• Delete any article

• Change user's nickname

• Reset user's password

• Delete a user

• Assign another user administrative rights

• Update the reference table

Deleting a user

If there is a need to delete, you can go to "User Admin" under "Admin" in the navigation menu.

The system will show you the user you want to delete and seek confirmation.

Deleted user is not recoverable.

Deleting a user does not remove the articles he contributed, but his name will not be shown on the Article.

Deleting a user also does not remove the his comments and ratings, but his name will not be shown on when users "View Comments"
